It is a big reminder that great gear does not make for a great mix. Great writing style too – very conversational and engaging. There’s a lot of insight into the professional mixing process, and the mixers role in the business, specifically with respect to interactions with clients, which is all good, except that I don’t want to be a professional mixing engineer – I just want to learn how to ,ixerman my own tracks.
I know i for one have always been super interested in reading technical mixing mixerman zen and the art of mixing so this is a breath of fresh air for me. I’ve been reading with pleasure!
