Mission Statement of the Friends of Lincoln Lakes
Friends of Lincoln Lakes is organized exclusively for educational and scientific purposes as it relates to the unique geographic, recreational, and wildlife habitat attributes of the highlands, lakes, ponds, and streams known collectively as the Lincoln Lakes Region in Maine. Friends of Lincoln Lakes is a community citizen organization dedicated to preserving the public safety, property values, economic viability, environmental integrity and quality of life in Lincoln, Maine and in surrounding towns. The Friends of Lincoln Lakes are neighbors and others committed to public service in order to achieve a reasonable vision and lasting legacy of environmental integrity for a Lincoln Lakes Region worthy of future generations.
